Day 6: The Sound of Music 🎶
Amazing performance from the Ballroom Team for Day 6 at the British Formation Championships. They exemplified elegance, beauty, grace and artistry receiving 2nd place! Special thank you to Marat Gimaev and Alina Basyuk for their STUNNING choreography, friendship and expertise as well as Curt and Sharon Holman for their leadership and coaching. Marek Gorski @atelierellabymarek designed and created these gorgeous dresses and makeup and hair was all the work of @boykoco and team! We are so grateful for all the support of our friends and family back home and are thrilled to officially start our tour. Next up, London!

Day 5: CARMEN ♥️
BYU won the British Latin Formation Championships! Special thanks to directors, @curt_holman and Sharon and @andrenatalieparamonov for their amazing choreography, artistry, direction and leadership. Thank you to @boykoco for making us “Carmenita’s” and @atelierellabymarek Marek Gorski for our stunning dresses. Day 3
Many of our dancers competed in Amateur Latin and then we rehearsed again! Getting ready for Latin formation on Wednesday and then Ballroom on Thursday! We were all given the day to eat fish and chips, visit the pier and explore Blackpool. Day 4
Day 4 was a bit of a more relaxed day (kind of) with a visit to the Lake District, the amateur latin and under 21 finals, lots of naps, lots of practice and lots of competition prep! The Latin team will dance tomorrow night at 9:00pm England time. The link in our bio will take you to the website where you can stream the competition live.

Day 2
Day 2 included an amazing walking tour of Preston and a history of the Saints in England, a trip to the Preston temple, a tour of the Ribble River Valley, Downham and Chatburn, a Manchester YSA devotional and of course church!

European Pre-Tour Showcase
The Ballroom Dance Company will unveil their new competitions medlies at the European Pre-Tour Showcase on May 17, 2019 at 7:30 pm in the DeJong Concert Hall. Tickets will be $14 and go on sale April 15 at BYUarts.com.
